This package contains the driver that enables the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio (Beats Audio) in HP ENVY notebook models (Also works for other models supporting beats audio with windows 10) that are running a windows 8 or windows 10 operating system.
Sometimes the Beats Audio control panel disappears when you upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. The volume begins to diminish, even when it turned up to 100% in Windows Media Player, Youtube, or any other external application.
In this case the only option for you is to reinstall beats audio driver.

This works, thanks (whoever) for doing the hard work and making this available and making it easy for plebs like me to use! I now have sound that I don't have to turn up to 100 to barely hear, now I'm pushing good sound at half the volume I was using before. I have a HP ENVY dv7 ('13/'14 model) that runs Windows 10 and I now have sound again! Thanks again
It worked thanks for posting. I have been putting up with the tinny low volume sound for so long it is great to get some volume and base.
